Results-season pilot · Q2 FY27

Cover every stock on your list. Read only the ones that moved.

Prebell is your overnight filing desk for results season. It reads every BSE filing for your watchlist and sends one email brief at 7:30 IST, before the 9:15 bell, with a card only for the stocks where something changed. Your time goes to judgment, not to routine reading.

For buy-side analysts and fund managers. Research tool, not investment advice.

The outcome: wider coverage, with your bandwidth back.

The same results night, two ways. Each square is a stock on your watchlist.

Wider coverage

Every stock on your list is read the night it files, including the ones you'd normally only get to next week.

Bandwidth back

The routine reading is done before you log in. Your hours go to the stocks that moved, management calls and your own view.

Nothing silently missed

Every filing on your list shows up in the brief, either as a card or in the "also filed" list.

Results season outruns any coverage list.

Hundreds of companies file within a few weeks. Most filings confirm what you already knew. The few that change the story are easy to miss when they land at 11 pm on a Friday.

Only what moved

Quiet quarters stay out of your inbox. A stock gets a card only when a number rule or a change in management's language trips a signal.

Checkable in seconds

Every qualitative finding carries the page number and the exact quote, matched against the filing text. Open the PDF and see it.

Your checklist, not ours

A fixed core finds the signals. Your results-season questions run on top, so the brief answers what you actually ask.

How it works

You send a watchlist and a checklist. Prebell does the reading overnight.

1

Filings come in

Prebell watches BSE public filings for every stock on your list, within the exchange's limits.

2

Two kinds of checks

Numbers come from XBRL through fixed rules. A language model reads the text for guidance, tone and risk changes, and must quote its source.

One brief at 7:30

A card per stock that moved, the quotes behind it, and a list of everything else that filed.

A results night, end to end

  1. EveningResults hit BSE

The XBRL numbers are checked against the company's own recent quarters.

  2. Late nightTranscript is filed

Management's language is read against your checklist, and every quote is matched to a page.

  3. Before dawnCards are built

Stocks with no signal are listed but not carded. Unreadable scans are flagged.

  4. 07:30 ISTBrief in your inbox

Read it with your coffee, well before the 9:15 open.

Today it's an email. Next, it's your desk's format.

During the pilot, Prebell sends one email brief at 7:30 IST. Below is what we plan to build next. Your feedback decides the order.

Built for people who have to defend the call

The rules the engine follows, so you know what you can rely on.

  • Numbers never come from the modelSignals like a profit surprise or a debt change are computed from XBRL data, not generated text.
  • Every finding has a page and a quoteIf the quote can't be found in the filing text, the finding is dropped.
  • No price targetsScenarios are qualitative, with the drivers that would move them. Decisions stay with you.
  • Gaps are shown, not hiddenScanned filings the engine can't read yet are listed at the bottom of the brief.
  • Public exchange dataSourced from BSE's public filings, the same documents you would download yourself.
  • You stay the authorPlanned decks and notes are drafts your analysts edit and own. Nothing goes out under Prebell's name.

Questions analysts ask

Does Prebell give buy or sell calls?

No. It tells you what changed in a filing and shows you where. Scenarios are qualitative bull, base and bear cases with their drivers, with no price targets. Decisions stay with you.

Where do the numbers come from?

From the XBRL data companies file with BSE, through fixed rules. The language model never produces the numbers that trigger a signal.

What if it gets something wrong?

Every qualitative finding carries a page and a quote, so you can check it in seconds. If you spot an error, reply to the brief. During the pilot that feedback is exactly what we're after.

Which companies are covered?

Companies that file on BSE. Send your watchlist and we'll confirm which stocks we can cover before the first brief.

What happens to my watchlist and checklist?

They're used to build your brief and aren't shown to other pilot users. Please don't send anything confidential from your employer.

Is it only email?

For the pilot, yes: one email brief at 7:30 IST. Slack, WhatsApp, Excel and editable decks and research notes are planned. Tell us in the form which matters most to you.

When does it start?

The first briefs go out in the Q2 FY27 results season, starting Monday 2 November at 7:30 IST.
